Joe ColosimoJoe, also the head of his own consulting firm, is a high energy, candid, “get it done” advisor. Serving organizations large and small, he is driven to help them, and their people, maximize potential in a competitive marketplace. He combines profit and nonprofit experiences with an accomplished corporate and consulting career, to bring his insightful perspectives to a variety of organizations.


His executive experiences have been with several noteworthy corporations including Westinghouse,UtiliCorp United, Ford, and Loral. He has worked in conjunction with Organization Resources Counselors, Inc., consulting for many Fortune 300 Corporations, small businesses and other organizations.


Joe is viewed as a trusted advisor in the areas of human resources, communications and community affairs. He consults on issues of strategy development and implementation, helps HR organizations become more focused and effective and is particularly knowledgeable with talent sourcing and development, employee relations, organization design and development, communications and coaching. His experiences cover a range of economic conditions including; start up, growth, redirection, turnaround and divestiture.


He has spoken at many universities and executive conferences and he has networked with some of the leading international thought-leaders in his fields. Joe’s work has been noted in a number of books, and he was featured in The Journal of Business Strategy as one of the leading strategists in the country and the only non-CEO among the group. More recently he was featured inFinancial Executive Magazine on future talent challenges.


When he is not consulting, Joe has been active in a variety of community organizations and initiatives. He teaches in the Management Department of the University of Denver. Previously, he was a Board member of The Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the Boards of the Rocky Mountain Human Resource Planning Society, KidsTek, and the Leadership Committee of the Association for Corporate Growth. He has been a competitive rower, having raced throughout the United States and Canada. He and his family live in Centennial, Colorado.


Joe is a graduate of LaSalle University, where he earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business.
