Carey Maloney

Carey Maloney, a Texan by birth and a New Yorker by choice, is an architect and a founding partner in the New York City based interior design firm M(Group) with his partner, architect Hermes Mallea, in 1984. M (Group)’s award-winning work has been published internationally, and the firm receives accolades for employing classic forms wisely, boldly, and with considerable wit and subtlety for a roster of illustrious clients. Maloney and Mallea divide their time between Manhattan and the Hudson River Valley.

Architect Corey Maloney founded his architecture and interior design practice, M (Group), in 1984 with interior designer Hermes Mallea. M(Group)’s projects have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, House & Garden, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Town and Country, Veranda, World of Interiors(Britain), Arte e Decoracao (Brazil), and Moda de Hoy (Mexico).

The firm has been included in Architectural Digest’s “AD100” as well as House Beautiful’s “100 Best Decorators”, House & Garden’s “Best in American Design” and the New York Magazine “Top 100”.
