Press Room INAUGURAL Speech Fitness® INSTITUTE April 16, 2003, Denver, CO — Mary Mayotte + Associates (MM+A) announced today the launch of the Speech Fitness® Institute — SFI inspiring expert communicators to "flex and tone" their communication technique. The program is designed for executives, managers and teams to sharpen the individual style and professional communication skills that are essential in the corporate arena. SFI will introduce techniques to get participants out of the traditional mindset and unleash the gifted "performer" that resides in all of us. This inaugural program takes place from June 22 - 27 at the Wild Horse Inn in Fraser, Colorado (near Winter Park, 1 1/2 hours from Denver). There will be a maximum of 12 people at each session to ensure that each individual has "Personal Training" with Mary to achieve his or her communications goals. "Our mission is to encourage busy executives to take time to explore with us; to establish a coaching relationship and more importantly, to motivate and re-invigorate CEOs, Senior Executives and Decision Makers. We will facilitate an open forum for discussion and learning with already facile, high-level communicators who do a good job of it every day — but never have enough time (or feedback) to take their performance to a new level. Seminar and activity leaders include Don Campbell, world-renowned authority on the transformational power of music, author of The Mozart Effect and founder of the Institute of Music Health and Education; Scott Halford, an Emmy Award winning writer, producer and certified Emotional Intelligence and Emergenetics® provider and facilitator of Organizational Motivation programs; Marty Lassen, founder of the nationally recognized "Women's Success Forum" for leadership development and a business development, sales and IT management expert, who will join Scott with additional insights into corporate dynamics; and Eileen Winnick, corporate communications and media trainer, television spokesperson and acting coach who co-teaches MM+A's groundbreaking "Improvisational Acting Skills for Business" with Mary Mayotte. Other experts will be invited to accommodate individual requests.
