Cedar is a Chesapeake Bay retriever who lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Cedar’s 2011 pursuit is the founding of Pets Gone Green University™, a place where pets and their people learn about a pet’s impact on the earth, and how humans influence their pet’s health. Her teachings focus on taking action and persuading others to do the same. The strong-minded Chesapeake Bay retriever serves as Dean of the College for Sustainable Behaviors. Her research and expertise are on ”Poop-to-Power” projects worldwide and “Eco-Solutions for a Pet’s Daily Life©”.
When Cedar isn’t writing or working on environmental issues, she spends her time as a pet therapy dog and running her campaign, Cedar for Mayor.™

Kathy Deitsch, Transcriber
Kathy Deitsch is a former teacher and long-time advocate for change that improves lives. She has written the words Cedar Dog and Ernie whisper in her very creative ear. Her writing has appeared in countless news and magazine publications, including The Progressive, The Advocate, Washington Blade, and Out Front on issues of lesbian and gay political life. Kathy serves as an appointed member of her city’s animal commission.
